What can I record at Kindful Studios?
A lot more than podcasts.
Our studios are designed for video podcasts, audio podcasts, interviews, personal-brand content, talking-head videos, social media content, TikTok and Reels, TikTok Shop content, online courses and business content.
Both studios capture professional video and audio together, with cameras, microphones and lighting ready for you when you arrive.
And you won’t be left to figure it all out yourself. Every session is hosted by our team, so you can concentrate on what you’re saying while we concentrate on making it look and sound great.
Do I need to know anything about cameras, microphones or recording?
Nope. That’s kind of the point.
You don’t need to know how to operate a camera, set up a microphone or work out which button starts recording.
We’ll prepare the studio before you arrive, get everyone comfortable, check your cameras, lighting and audio, and look after the technical side throughout your session.
You turn up and create. We’ll handle everything else.
How does booking work?
Choose The little one or The big one, select your session length and an available time, and tell us who’s coming.
You’ll pay securely when you book and receive confirmation by email with everything you need to know before your session.

Which studio should I book?
It depends on what you’re creating and how many people are involved.
The little one is our more intimate content studio, perfect for solo content, one-to-one interviews and two-person podcasts.
The big one gives you more room and multiple setups, making it ideal for larger podcasts, interviews, panel conversations and content sessions with up to four people.
How long can I book the studio for?
You can book sessions for 1 hour, 2 hours or a full day.
If you’re recording a single podcast episode, an hour may be plenty. If you’re recording multiple episodes or want to batch-create social and personal-brand content, we’d recommend allowing longer.
For businesses and creators looking to create a bank of content in one visit, our full-day sessions give you the most flexibility.
When are you open?
Kindful Studios is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
We’re currently closed at weekends.

What’s included in a studio booking?
Every booking at Kindful Studios is a hosted recording session, not simply room hire.
Your booking includes:
- A friendly meet and greet when you arrive
- Refreshments
- Your studio prepared before your session
- Professional cameras, microphones, lighting and recording equipment
- Camera, lighting and audio setup
- Technical support throughout your recording
- Multi-camera video and professional audio capture
- Your recording files transferred before you leave
The idea is simple: you shouldn’t have to worry about the technical stuff.
Come in, get comfortable and create.
What equipment do you use?
Our studios use professional Sony cameras, Shure SM7B microphones, RØDE audio equipment and studio lighting to capture high-quality video and audio.
More importantly, everything is set up and operated for you. You don’t need to bring cameras, microphones or recording equipment unless there’s something specific you’d like to use.
Do you record video as well as audio?
Yes. Both Kindful Studios spaces are designed for video podcasting and professional content creation, so we can capture high-quality video and audio together.
That means a single session can give you a long-form video podcast or interview alongside footage that can be turned into short-form content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Do you offer podcast editing and content production?
Yes.
If you don’t want to leave with a folder full of footage and another job on your list, our production team can take things further.
Through Kindful Creative, we can help with podcast editing, multi-camera edits, short-form social clips, captions, branded content and wider video production.

Can you help me create short-form social content?
Absolutely.
You don’t need to have a podcast to use Kindful Studios.
The studios are ideal for batch-recording personal-brand videos, LinkedIn content, Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, FAQs, thought-leadership videos and other social content.
If you want help planning, filming and editing the content rather than simply recording it, speak to us about our production options.
Can I bring guests?
Yes.
The little one is designed for up to two people, while The big one can record up to four people.

Can businesses use the studios?
Definitely.
Kindful Studios isn’t just for podcasters and creators. We work with businesses, founders, marketing teams and personal brands who need somewhere professional to create content regularly.

Kindful Studios Community membership is £29 +VAT per month.

It’s designed for creators, founders and businesses who want to create more consistently and meet other people doing the same.
Do you offer corporate memberships?
Yes. We’re launching corporate membership for businesses that want to make Kindful Studios their regular home for content creation.
It’s designed for teams creating podcasts, personal-brand content, interviews, thought leadership and social content throughout the year, without arranging a new production from scratch every time.
How do I use my Foundry member rate?
If you’re a Foundry member, you’ll receive a booking code giving you access to your Foundry studio rate.
Simply enter the code when you book and the relevant pricing will automatically be applied.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Usually, just yourself and whatever you need for the content you’re recording.
We provide the cameras, microphones, lighting and technical setup.
If you’re recording a podcast or interview, it’s worth bringing your notes, questions or running order. If you’re recording personal-brand or social content, bring any scripts, products, props or outfit changes you’d like to use.
We’ll take care of the recording side.
How will I receive my files?
We’ll transfer your recording files after your session so you can take them away with you.
Because professional multi-camera video files can be large, we’ll explain the easiest transfer method for your particular recording when you visit us for the first time. And if you don’t want to wait for the files, you are welcome to bring your own SD cards with you to record straight onto!
If we’re editing or producing the content for you, we’ll agree the delivery process and timescale separately.
Will my recording be edited?
Editing isn’t included in standard studio hire unless your booking or package specifically says otherwise.
Your standard session gives you professionally captured video and audio files.
If you’d rather receive finished, ready-to-publish content, our production team can handle everything from the full podcast edit to individual social clips.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. When you pay for your session, a VAT invoice will be sent to you by email.

What if I need to cancel?
Plans change.
Cancel 72 hours or more before your session and we’ll refund anything you’ve paid in full.
If you cancel within 24 to 72 hours, we’ll refund 50%.
Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable.
If something unexpected has happened, talk to us. We’re human.

Kindful Studios is based inside Foundry at the Dolphin Centre in Poole, Dorset.
We’re right in Poole town centre, making the studios easy to reach from Bournemouth, Christchurch and across Dorset.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes. The easiest option is the Dolphin Shopping Centre multi-storey car park, BH15 1TA.
The car park connects directly to the Dolphin Centre, so you won’t have far to carry anything you’re bringing with you.
Full directions and arrival information will be sent before your session.
Can I get there by train or bus?
Yes.
Poole railway station is only a few minutes’ walk away, and Poole Bus Station is directly alongside the Dolphin Centre.
That makes the studios easy to reach without a car from Bournemouth, Christchurch and further across Dorset.
I’m new to podcasting. Can you help?

You don’t need an existing podcast, expensive equipment or any technical knowledge to record here.
